Two teeth & almost crawling!

The girls are seven months old now! I can't believe it. Zoe has two bottom teeth, and Sydney is still toothless. They absolutely refuse to watch anything other than Sesame Street. Go figure. Zoe is almost crawling. Two days ago she began propping herself on her hands and knees and looking up, rather than smothering her face into the floor. Sydney can stand on her own if she has a piece of furniture to hold onto. Like I said, they are getting so big!

Zoe fell asleep early, but here are today's pictures of Sydney. Enjoy!

Six Months & One Tooth!

Watch out, Zoe bites! That's right. The little stinker has classic Kirk timing, and decided to get her first tooth during her Mommy's exam week.

Poor thing. This is something that even the Cookie Monster can't fix.

They are six months old and still stinky. Sydney is in love with Elmo, and Zoe adores the aforementioned Cookie Monster. Syd is still the wild child and enjoys parent-induced acrobatics. Zoester likes to drink water from Mommy's cups. The love of binkies is slowly fading, which makes me sad ... they are growing so fast.

I'll try to post pictures and video to the blog once this semester is over.

xoxox,

P.S. -- I'll do my best to super-macro a picture of the tooth, per the request of one crazy uncle. She might lick the camera lens, though.

Sydney Eats!

Daddy has been doing a good job introducing the girls to solid foods. They like to copy the "mmmm" sound we make when we feed them. They eat sweet potatoes, bananas, and tonight will get to try some carrots. Delicious!
Here's Sydney's latest:

5 months old!

Well, it's been another month. The girls are over 12 lbs now, and doing great! They are really excited about playing games and watching Sesame Street. They've been practicing eating solid foods with rice cereal, and today they had a little bit of sweet potatoes as well!

They are still as stinky and goofy as ever, as these pictures and video show. We certainly miss and love everyone!
